tough love

I was fine by myself
though my world only had two colors.

So, i thought it was good
When you came and brought me the rainbows.

And then we were together
Seeing world in a whole different ways.

But now when i'm looking back, i ask myself
Why did i hold on so long?

Because i was blinded by them.
I was blinded by you.
I was blinded by love, a thing that i thought so sweet.

But now i can see through clearly.
I can laugh happily.
I can say that love is, a thing that doesn't taste that sweet.
